  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Prospecting, interfacing with prospects and supporting multiple Area Sales Managers within the territory to close sales

Digital Marketing Specialist

The Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and executing email communications, lead nurturing and retention strategies, and successfully growing the email marketing channel. Additional responsibilities include paid search (PPC) management, data analytics and assist in updating the many company websites.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will coordinate with internal marketing teams to execute company and online content strategies. They will be responsible for conducting analysis, improving efficiency, and providing insight to management about the performance of the digital marketing program as well as ensuring best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage Marketo to develop event-based, promotional, and informational content strategies that maximize customer retention and lead nurturing
  • Help drive brand awareness and company strategy by working collaboratively to develop a comprehensive digital marketing program for global B2B channels
  • Work with sales team in developing and executing lead nurturing and drip campaigns
  • Build and manage dynamic email templates using Marketo, Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML and CSS
  • Assist in managing, building and updating the company’s many websites – most built in WordPress
  • Oversee QA and end to end testing for email templates
  • Create data-driven, dynamic email campaigns
  • Optimize email sending criteria with advanced segmentation techniques

Requirements:

Examples of tasks:

  • Do thermal analysis on delivery devices that simultaneously chill tissue and deliver optical power.
  • Develop optics mounts that are very stable against mechanical shock and temperature variations.
  • Use knowledge of materials to reliably seal a water-cooled enclosure when the seals also see strong lamp radiation from flashlamps.
  • For supporting laser optics, design beam combining structures that allow higher power to be delivered or to switch quickly between wavelengths
  • Conduct lab measurements to analyze design performance.

  • Provide technical support for repair, test, calibrate and installation of laser systems, sub-systems and/or sub-assemblies.
  • Report to management any potential problems which could impact timely completion of assigned tasks, equipment shortcomings, and more complex equipment problems.
  • Maintain complete and accurate service records.
  • Interact with customers and monitor accounts.
  • Provide on-site technical support to customers as required.
  • May require Travel.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as directed.

Critical Competencies:

  • Familiarity with computers, Word and Excel.
  • Continually develop positive relations within Sales and Service Team.
  • Continually develop company and product Knowledge.
  • Continually develop, exercise and maintain excellent customer relations skills.

Functional Expertise:

  • Working knowledge of customer needs in a medical environment.
  • Understand product alignment and certification to specification.
  • Demonstrate familiarization with basic Laser technology and applications.

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must ensure high output level and be able to multi-task.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in electronics at a minimum.
  • 5-10 years related field service experience in troubleshooting medical laser equipment.

Field Service Engineer

Description: Sciton, Inc. (medical device aesthetic laser company) is looking for a Field Service Engineer to potentially cover the following states and/or regions: Washington DC/Baltimore, Atlanta. Employee can reside in any of these locations. Due to heavy traveling the individual must live within a 30 mile radius of a major airport in these locations. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, service and maintain medical laser systems; Nd :YAG, Er:YAG, diodes and intense pulsed light.
  • Provide professional, courteous, enthusiastic, prompt and skilled technical service to Sciton customers.
  • Use your extensive technical troubleshooting and customer support background to provide front line support to Sciton customers encountering technical problems.
  • Respond to service requests and ensure on-site repair within 48 hours.
  • Ability to manage and assist in the shipment of service parts to customer sites.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to establish, maintain, and update technical support processes providing responses/answers to common questions and problems.
  • Take initiative to ensure customer satisfaction and improvement of the service department processes and procedures.
  • Build trust with customers by ensuring integrity and accountability.
  • Partner with cross-functional Sciton departments to ensure comprehensive, coordinated and effective communication and support approaches.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of optics, electronics, cooling systems, power supplies and laser systems.
  • Strong customer service skills, positive attitude, and ability to clearly and tactfully communicate with others.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Prioritization and multi-tasking skills required.
  • Excellent communication, customer interaction and phone interaction skills required.

Work Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electronics, Laser Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in electronic system troubleshooting/technical support/ customer service/dispatch experience.
  • Medical device experience a strong plus.
