Sciton is committed to protecting the privacy of your personally identifiable information to the extent possible. This Privacy Notice discloses the privacy practices for Sciton and our website, www.sciton.com, in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act and EU General Data Protection Regulation. This Privacy Notice applies to all information collected by Sciton.

Sciton collects personal information from e-mails, faxes, telephone inquiries, correspondence, web forms, surveys, and other means of communication. We honor “Do Not Track” requests to the extent a user activates a “do not track” tool through his or her web browser, but otherwise, Sciton does not have a separate program or plug-in.

Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance their experience on our site. Personally identifiable information is not stored within cookies.

Securing Your Information

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit personal information to Sciton, your information is protected both online and offline.  Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (i.e., customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Whenever material changes are made to this privacy policy, they will be posted at this URL.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect or maintain any personally identifiable information from anyone under 13 years of age. Any unauthorized use of the technology, content or materials on the Sciton website may violate patent, copyright, trademark and other laws, whether or not said intellectual property is registered.
