Post Care
No matter the intensity of your treatment, patients can expect mild redness and swelling similar to a sunburn sensation, and tightness of skin.
A bronzing, sandpaper like texture begins at day 2-3 as the MENDS (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris) make their way to the surface of the skin and slough off by days day 4-5 (depending on depth and density of the treatment).
A gentle cleanser and moisturizer will be recommended to protect and comfort the treated area and should be used until skin has naturally exfoliated.
HALO may be performed as part of a series approximately 4-8 weeks long depending on depth and coverage area of the treatment, as well as the health and integrity of the skin being treated.
