Palo Alto, CA — February 20, 2002 — The new Sciton-developed MicroLaserPeel™ procedure was designed for those wanting more than microdermabrasion or light chemical peels, and have little time for a prolonged healing process. Skin conditions such as wrinkles, scars, acne scars, laxity, keratoses, and pigmentary problems have been treated with a MicroLaserPeel. Surgeons and Dermatologists can get started with the MicroLaserPeel procedure when they purchase the PROFILE™ with 1 Er.YAG 2940 nm laser from Sciton. As many as 4 lasers can be put into a PROFILE console which, in addition to the MicroLaserPeel procedure, also offers vein treatment, hair removal, and full laser resurfacing.
