PALO ALTO, Calif., March 5, 2019 — Sciton®, a leading manufacturer of high-quality laser and light systems in the aesthetic and medical markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Cheryl Deguara, Ph.D. to Senior Director, Product Innovation & Clinical Research. A Sciton alum, Cheryl earned her Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in Biochemistry and has an extensive background in the aesthetic and medical laser space..

Sciton is committed to growing its global position at the forefront of laser and light innovation for medical and aesthetic applications. In addition to Cheryl, Sciton has hired three new product managers to expand their product development and marketing capabilities. Cheryl’s team will focus on developing innovative products, enhancing Sciton’s existing technologies, and delivering clinical evidence to drive commercial success. She and her team will closely collaborate with R&D on fresh product launches and will work with Sciton physician users globally to test prototypes, create protocols and deliver clinical evidence before formally débuting new and exciting technologies.
