PALO ALTO, Calif., March 3, 2020 — Sciton Inc., a leading manufacturer of medical and aesthetic lasers and light source technologies concludes 2019 at an all-time high, promoting key executives, holding two sold-out user summits, and launching multiple new technologies while enjoying successive years of growth.

2019 was a record revenue year for Sciton, delivering the eighth consecutive year of growth and two of the best historic quarters in the history of the enterprise. According to Robb Brindley, Vice President of Sales, North America, “The defining factor for our growth and success is quite simply our people. It’s an absolute honor to serve alongside the most loyal and durable sales professionals in the industry today. Sciton Invests In Leaders

2020 is off to a monumental start with the appointment of a new CEO to Sciton. This week Jim Hobart announced the promotion of Aaron Burton to Chief Executive Officer.

Aaron has spent the last eight years at Sciton growing the Aesthetic Sales Team, Women’s Health Group, International Sales Team, and more recently operations in our World Headquarters in Palo Alto, CA. “He has devoted his career at Sciton to pushing boundaries and motivating teams to reach new records. He has made it widely known that his vision for the future is about maintaining the Sciton culture while forging forward with a growth mindset. Paramount to that success is taking care of our people who in turn wow our customers with amazing service. That’s an admirable quality from any leader and our global team is extremely excited to see what the future holds, says Jim Hobart, Founder and Chairman.”

In addition, 2019 was another year in which the company rewarded its high performers. In April, Robb Brindley was added to the Board of Directors as the current Vice President of Sales, North America, bringing with him nearly two decades of Sciton experience. During the Fall User Summit, another milestone promotion was announced with Lacee J. Naik being promoted to the position of Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations and granted the honor of advisor to the Board of Directors.

New Technologies Unveiled

The company’s legacy focuses on designing and engineering systems with revolutionary advancements that minimize obsolescence through an expandable multi-device platform. The JOULE X platform was launched at ASLMS 2019 leading the way as the most customizable laser and light performance system available today.

As an option for the JOULE X platform, Sciton unveiled novel technology with the new ClearV application for the treatment of unsightly blood vessels, broken capillaries, spider veins and vascular lesions. With one of a kind Subsurface Vein Illumination technology (SVI), it is now possible to visualize and treat veins that cannot be seen by the naked eye, empowering practitioners to deliver more comprehensive treatment outcomes.

The Clear Suite family of products, including ClearV™ (NEW), ClearSilk™(NEW), and ClearHair, combined with BroadBand Light (BBL), enable physicians to treat veins, skin, and hair from a single platform.

The company brought further innovation to the market with Sciton iQ™, a cloud-based data intelligence software program that provides its customers with real-time system and treatment data analytics to drive their business. Sciton iQ features data and dashboard audit reports on specific procedures giving practices an insightful business tool for intuitive planning and resource utilization.

Sciton’s commitment to making premier solutions begins in Silicon Valley where all of its products are developed and manufactured.
