The QML Developer will work closely with the technical engineering team, and report to the Director of Engineering. Individual will develop User Interface Software for Medical Laser Systems.

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Experience doing application development in C/C++ environments, specifically with expertise working with QT5, QML Quick 2 and JavaScript on the front-end UI.

Quality Assurance Inspector

The Quality Assurance Inspector will work closely with Manufacturing, Service, Purchasing and Engineering to support activities related to use of goods which meets specifications.

Key Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below satisfactorily.

  • Assist with the completion of first article inspections, receiving inspection, in-process inspections, and inspection of finished product to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Complete sample inspections of received inventory with varying forms of measurement instruments including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, microscope, multimeter, laser power meter, etc.
  • Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.
  • Interpret and record QA observations of production processes and make recommendations for improving production processes.
  • Identify, communicate, and assist in the resolution of quality related issues.
  • Process non-conforming requests (NCR’s) by working closely with Manufacturing, Service and Purchasing.
  • Ensure that non-conforming material is properly controlled in accordance with Sciton procedures and processed in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of related QC experience, preferably in materials intensive manufacturing organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficient in adapting to changing situations and efficiently alternating focus between tasks to support operations as dictated by business needs.

The Facilities Coordinator will work closely with the Facilities Supervisor to support all facilities and material handling activities.

Key Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below satisfactorily.

  • Perform daily maintenance of the facility (5 buildings) in its entirety to ensure that it is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner; respond to and ensure all building and onsite storage facilities and work area hazards are identified and corrected in a safe and timely manner.
  • Work with the Facilities Supervisor to prioritize tasks and/or scheduling in order to meet deadlines, and facilities requests.
  • Inventory janitorial, hardware and office supplies as needed.
  • Assist with the delivery, set-up and pick-up of equipment and supplies for shipping and receiving.
  • Assist employees with the retrieval and delivery of onsite documents, supplies, materials and ensure they are stored in a secured manner.

Clinical Education Specialist—East Coast

This is a fully remote position with extensive traveling and reports to the Associate Director of Clinical Education. Registered Nurse can be based between Boston and Pennsylvania – Northern Upper East states. Important that the candidate is located near a major airport due to heavy traveling.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and train clients (plastic surgeons, dermatologist, medical doctors, and clinicians) on the use of aesthetic and surgical lasers.
  • Responsible for initial post-sales training and subsequent training as necessary.
  • Resolve post-sale customer issues and clinical questions.
  • Create, revise and maintain clinical training manuals.
  • Design and implement customer and distributor training programs in the field; assist in evaluating the need for continuing education programs.
  • Provide physician training that includes didactic and hands-on lab with live patients.

  • Interface with Sales, Field Service and other corporate staff as needed.

In this position you are responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.

  • Maintain document control.

Digital Marketing Coordinator Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Track campaign progress, assist with the development of social and email campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing all sourcing/procurement activities for the assigned categories.
  • Develops and implements a sourcing management strategy for these categories assigned.
  • Identifies, develops and manages supplier relationships.
  • Analyzes supplier performance on a yearly basis.
  • Participates in new ERP implementation and maintenance.
  • Requires significantly complex decision-making and significant financial responsibility.

  • Must have experience building frames. This role requires heavy lifting. Must be able to lift and carry heavy parts.
  • Responsible for performing a wide variety of optical, electrical, mechanical, electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations.
  • Follow work instructions and manufacturing process instructions in performing standard tasks such as component installation, optical alignment, electrical wiring, hand soldering and cable harnessing on sub-assemblies.
  • Install and glue optical assemblies, such as mirrors and lenses, in laser body, using precision instruments.
  • Perform assembly, adjustments and final testing to meet engineering specifications.
  • An attention to detail and an interest in working on state of the art laser systems are essential in this position.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

*Good manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination are required.

  • Must have previous Assembly experience
