Service Support Associate—Shipping & Receiving

Description

Provide service operations support related to manufacturing and distribution of medical laser equipment to domestic and international customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Service Activities

  • Assembly of customer orders and prepares goods for shipment.
  • Open calls within Sciton’s ERP system to track movement of parts and field service activity
  • Receipt of parts and closing calls to initiate billing upon completion of field service activities
  • Work with management to resolve issues that may surface during the call closing process
  • Update Material Order Spreadsheet during and after call processing.
  • Review and update customer installed base, as required
  • Feed necessary information to Accounting for invoice generation

Other Tasks

  • Weekly Inventory
  • Assist with scanning and maintaining electronic device history records (eDHRs) and other corporate documentation
  • As assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field preferred
  • 1-2 years of work experience, preferable within manufacturing operations
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Enterprise solution software familiarity is a plus
  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, highly-organized, creative, enthusiastic, and capable of
    staying under control with pressure from multiple ongoing projects
  • Flexible, with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Compensation

The compensation package is comprised of base wage, performance bonus, and equity participation in a pre-public company. Sciton offers a competitive salary and incentive package which includes:

Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Install, service and maintain medical laser systems; Nd :YAG , Er:YAG and intense pulsed light.
  • Provide professional, courteous, enthusiastic, prompt and skilled technical service to Sciton customers.
  • Use your extensive technical troubleshooting and customer support background to provide front line support to Sciton customers encountering technical problems.
  • Respond to service requests and ensure on-site repair within 48 hours.
  • Ability to manage and assist in the shipment of service parts to customer sites.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to establish, maintain, and update technical support processes providing responses/answers to common questions and problems.
  • Take initiative to ensure customer satisfaction and improvement of the service department processes and procedures

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Territory Manager - Portland, OR

Sciton Inc., a leading manufacturer of medical and aesthetic lasers and light source technologies is looking for experienced and qualified individual for a Territory Manager for the Portland territory.

Our Ideal Candidate will have a proven track record, positive attitude, be self-motivated, and committed to outstanding results.

Individual will support in prospecting, interfacing and closing sales transactions with customers.  Individual will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies for elevating sales. Perform marketing research and manage territory. Assist with post-sale customer issues.  Work with Field Service and corporate staff.  Supports in-service training and subsequent training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop customer loyalty.  Candidate must possess excellent prospecting and territory management ability along with strong selling skills.  Must be able to develop business strategies with customers to ensure their success.  Familiarity selling to physicians in private, group and hospital settings a plus. Minimum requirement is understanding the medical laser sales cycle. Familiarity with the aesthetics industry is also a plus.

Work Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or science. Prefer a candidate with two plus years of direct medical laser, B to B sales experience plus capital equipment sales experience.

Embedded Software Developer

Sciton is looking for a creative Embedded Software Developer. In this role the Software Developer will work closely with the technical engineering team, and report to Director of Engineering. Individual will develop software for medical laser systems.

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Solid programming skills in C/C++ and a strong track record.
  • Embedded development with microcontrollers such as ARM and 8051
  • Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
  • Experience structuring and maintaining large code bases
  • 2+ years of Linux development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Qt/QML.
  • UI/UX design is a very strong plus.
  • Ability to write device drivers for busses such as SPI and I2C
  • Experience with one or more Version Control Systems
  • The ability to write elegant, readable and maintainable code

Soft Skills:

  • Hands on, can do attitude.
  • Strong communication and written skills

Years of Experience:
