Customer Service Associate

Description:

Sciton, Inc. (Medical Device- Aesthetic Lasers) is looking for a Customer Service Associate for a key role with our Service Department. You’ll provide logistical support related to material returns from domestic and international customers. This is a part-time role (25 to 29 hours per week) with the opportunity for a flexible work schedule.

The position will be based in Palo Alto and report to the Associate Director of Global Services and works closely with the Manufacturing team as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities: (Other Duties may be assigned)
RMA Coordination:
● Communicate with domestic and international customers to request return of Sciton service parts in accordance with standard procedures
● Monitor progress of incoming returned material (Domestic and International)
● Record data and generate returned material trends for management review
● Feed necessary information to Accounting for invoice generation
● Interface with Customs for parts returning internationally
● Assist with shipment and receipt of service parts (Domestic and International)
Internal Document Control:
● Assist with scanning and maintaining electronic device history records (eDHRs) and other corporate documentation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
● Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field preferred
● Two to five years’ experience
● Computer skills in Microsoft Office required (Word and Excel)
● Enterprise solution software familiarity is a plus
● Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
● Self-motivated, results-oriented, highly-organized, creative, enthusiastic, and capable of
staying under control with pressure from multiple ongoing projects
● Flexible, with the ability to multi-task
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
● Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Accounts Payable Specialist

Sciton is a medical device startup-like company that is committed to providing best-in-class laser and light source solutions for medical professionals who want exceptional durability, performance and value.

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who will be successfully in running the function and optimize the productivity and efficiency of the department. The position will be based in Palo Alto, CA. and will report to the Director of Finance.

Description

Complete payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling vendor invoices.

Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)  

  • Match and enter invoices received with the
    • PO provided by Purchasing
    • Packing slips and receiving documentation
    • The vender’s invoice
  • Work with the Purchasing function to resolve any conflicts noted above
  • Enter all non PO invoices after confirming authorization by appropriate manager
  • Prepare the weekly check request and review with the Director of Finance for items and total payments
  • Print, route for signature and control the disbursement of checks, including bank interaction for Positive Pay
  • Participate with the Accounting department in the annual financial audit
  • Perform internal audit functions of quarterly physical inventory count
  • Support the Accounting department in other AP related duties

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
  • Two to 3 years of direct experience in AP preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft word, Excel)
    • QAD Enterprise Application experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and writing skills

Practice Development Partner, Women’s Health Group

Sciton, Inc. (Aesthetic Medical Lasers) is looking for a Practice Development Partner for the new Women’s Health Group.

Location: Chicago

The position will report to: Aaron Burton, Vice President, Women’s Health Group

Job Responsibilities:

  • Educating and supporting customers with marketing strategies including: website and microsite development, PPC and SEO, internal office branding, external marketing strategies, launch events and product announcements.
  • Achieving disposable sales quota in the assigned territory. Determine physician wants and needs while working closely with the territory Business Development Manager and Product Manager to drive sales and increase consumable sales.
  • Provide clients with ongoing training including: sales skills, phone skills, consultations and goal setting
  • Plan and execute quarterly and annual practice reviews with physician and staff to strategize and grow their practice.
  • Research and analyze competitive products and pricing.
  • Educate customers on all Sciton products, with a focus on diVa.
  • Perform market research, investigation, and due diligence.
  • Interfacing with multiple clients.
  • Giving presentations and holding training in person and via Skype or GoToMeeting.
  • Heavy focus on product development and working closely with Product Managers.
  • Planning and implementing strategies for increasing sales.
  • Support the sales, service, clinical and support teams post-sale.
  • Attend open house events, launch events, symposiums and trade-shows to market products.
  • Regular travel within the North America region.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop customer loyalty.
  • Must be able to develop business strategies with customers to ensure their success.
  • Must be a good active listener with the ability to ask key questions.

Work Experience and Education:
