Sciton Hosts Dermatologist-Focused Strategic Advisory Board Meeting at Masters of Aesthetics Symposium

PALO ALTO, Calif. –  Aug. 17, 2016 — Sciton, a leading manufacturer of aesthetic and surgical medical light-based devices, will host a dermatologist-focused strategic advisory board meeting at the upcoming 3rd annual Masters of Aesthetics Symposium. The forum will take place in San Diego, California, on Thursday, August 18, 2016. “Understanding the needs of specific specialties will help us deliver more focused solutions to meet the needs of our customers. Painting everyone with the same brushstroke does not usually yield deep insights,” says Rick Mendez, Vice President of Global Marketing for Sciton. Among the topics to be discussed will be the company’s newest products, Halo and diVa, which utilize Sciton’s ground-breaking Hybrid Fractional Laser technology. The seven expert dermatologists participating in the meeting will include:

Mathew Avram, MD, JD, Director of MGH Dermatology Laser and Cosmetic Center

Arisa Ortiz, MD, Director of laser and cosmetic dermatology at UC San Diego Health

Jill Waibel, MD, Medical Director and owner of Miami Dermatology and Laser Institute

Christopher Zachary, MD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Dermatology at UC Irvine

E. Victor Ross, MD, Director of The Scripps Clinic Laser & Cosmetic Dermatology Center

Suzanne Kilmer, MD, Founder of the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Northern California

Chris Robb, MD, PhD, Founder of Skin & Allergy Center

“The insights we gain from our advisory board meetings are extremely important to Sciton’s future as we turn to our key opinion leaders for guidance regarding industry trends, needs, and expectations. Our panel of specially-selected dermatologists is well-known for their extensive research experience, unparalleled clinical expertise, and high regard within the medical aesthetic community,” said Jim Hobart, Sciton’s CEO.
